Curl BC is offering a variety of coaching workshops in the Lower Mainland and on Vancouver Island at the start of the 2019-20 season.

It’s a great opportunity for your club to get trained coaches or for coaches interested in improving their skills to gain some confidence.

There will be club coach workshops offered at Vancouver Curling Club from Sept. 14-15, Abbotsford Curling Club from Sept. 21- 22 and Peace Arch Curling Club  from Nov. 16-17.

In addition, a competition coach workshop, for coaches wanting to bring teams to competitions (including playdowns), will be offered at Abbotsford Curling Club from Oct. 4-6 and Parksville Curling Club from Nov. 15-17.

The Club Coach course focuses on the club curler. This program is designed to enhance the skill-set of the coach/instructor who functions primarily at the club-level working with beginner curlers of all ages. The cost is $157.50 for members and $174.40 for non members.

The Competition Coach workshop prepares coaches to work with intermediate and competitive level athletes. This certification is required for coaching at playdowns, provincials, and BC Games. The cost is $204.40 for members and 244.40 for non members.
