Whether it’s helping to organize championships, teaching and coaching juniors, or officiating at games, volunteers play a crucial part in the sport of curling.

If you’re looking for an opportunity to give back to the curling community, meet new people, and gain valuable experience, Curl BC is currently recruiting for a number of major volunteer positions for the 2022-23 season.

 

BC Championships Ice Technician Volunteer Job Posting 

Job Description:

The BC Championships Ice Technician will be selected based on their level experience and skill set. The minimum certification required is Level 3.  This position is a one-year term, beginning June 15 each year, and is renewable upon the recommendation of the CEO. The BC Championships Ice Technician reports to Curl BC HP & Competitions Manager.

The BC Education Coordinator will be selected based on their level experience and skill set. The minimum certification required is Level 3.  This position is a one-year term, beginning June 15 each year, and is renewable upon the recommendation of the CEO. Wheelchair Curling Coordinator Volunteer Job Posting 2022-23

Job Description:

The Wheelchair Curling Coordinator (WCC) assists with scheduling and delivering wheelchair curling training and development opportunities throughout the province of BC. The WCC will report directly to the Member Services Manager. The candidate will have experience with wheelchair curling as an athlete or coach. This volunteer is a one-year term, beginning June 15 each year and reports to Curl BC’s Member Services Manager.
