Curling Canada has released new eligibility documents for the 2020/21 season.

Click here to view policies with regard to eligibility and residency for all playdowns (PDF).

Wheelchair users are now being allowed to request a residency exemption. To find out more, download Curling Canada’s new wheelchair eligibility rules (PDF).

These documents have been added to the Eligibility and Residency tab on the Rules Page.

Another document that will be of interest to curlers is the Sport Institute Network’s Return to High Performance Sport document. The Covid-19 Return to High Performance Sport Framework (PDF) is a tool which contains guidelines from the provincial, territorial, and federal health authorities extrapolated into the sporting context by medical experts in infectious diseases and public health. The National  Framework focuses on ‘how’ the reintroduction of sport activity will occur in a cautious and methodical manner from an athlete, coach, and practitioner perspective.

Anyone with any questions about these eligibility documents can contact Will Sutton at wsutton@curlbc.ca.
