Curling fans are now able to purchase tickets for the 2022 BC Men’s & Scotties BC Women’s Curling Championships.

Coming to Kamloops January 4^th to 9^th, 2022, the on-ice action will take place at the McArthur Island Sport and Event Centre, which will be transformed into a five-sheet curling venue.

The Men’s BC Championship will be a 12‐team event with ten-end games. Organized into two pools of six, the match-ups will see the top two teams in each pool advance to playoffs. The ultimate winner will then go on to represent BC at the Tim Hortons Brier, which will be held March 4^th to13th, 2022, In Lethbridge, AB.

On the women’s side, the 2021 British Columbia Scotties Tournament of Hearts will consist of 8‐teams competing in a round robin format of 10‐end games and a 4‐team playoff. The overall winner will then go on to represent BC at the national 2022 ScottiesTournament of Hearts, January 28th‐February 6th, 2022, in Thunder Bay, ON.

The event’s organizing committee is made up of volunteers from both the Kamloops and the McArthur Island curling clubs, and is chaired by Brenda Nordin and Linda Bolton. Local club managers Rob Nordin and Andrew McDiarmid are also on the committee.
