The Nanaimo Curling Club is hosting a fundraising event to raise funds towards the purchase of a new chiller. Their current chiller was taken out of service unexpectedly in May, thus jeopardizing the future of their 2024-2025 curling season. This is a major expense for a club of such size (approximately 465 members) and thus adds additional strain on the Club’s finances.

In conjunction with the fundraising event, to be held on October 19 & 20, 2024, World Curling Hall of Famer Kevin Martin will be running an Adult Novice Curling Academy. During the event, prize will be raffled off, including autographed jerseys from Team Homan & Team Dunstone.
