Curl BC is happy to announce that it’s offering two coaching courses this fall, to coincide with the start of the 2022-23 curling season.

There are a number of great opportunities for individuals interested in improving their coaching skills, or for clubs to offer their coaches additional competitive advantages.

The Competition Coach workshop is an advanced course, and prepares coaches to work with intermediate and competitive level athletes. This certification is required for coaching at playdowns, provincials, and BC Games.

The Club Coach course focuses on the club curler. This program is designed to enhance the skill-set of the coach/instructor who functions primarily at the club-level, working with beginner curlers of all ages.

The Competition course will be offered in Vancouver at the beginning off the season:

VANCOUVER

Competition Coach Course – Vancouver Curling Club (4575 Clancy Loranger Way, Vancouver, BC V5Y 2M4)

Dates: September 10th-11th, 2022

Course Fees: Competition Coach Workshop – $184.40
