The Beaver Valley Curling Club, in Fruitvale, BC, is investing in their future by engaging youth in local elementary schools.

Recently, the club expanded their elementary school program from four weeks to seven weeks, with three sessions hosted each day. In total, more than 500 youths participated in the learn-to-curl program this year, an increase of 150 from the 2021-22 season.

Ed Wilcox, BVCC President, spoke of how proud he is of the club, the success of their school program. and for the support of the twenty members who come out to deliver the sessions.

Engaging the youth is a key priority for Beaver Valley, and they will continue this program again in the 2023-24 season.
