We are excited to announce the launch of the Ammonia Safety Awareness Program (ASAP) for recreational facility directors, managers, and other refrigeration professionals. Developed by Technical Safety BC in collaboration with Curl BC and other industry partners, this program aims to fill in the knowledge gaps and share best practices for maintaining ammonia refrigeration equipment and systems across their lifecycle including:

• Effective maintenance and budgeting according to regulations
• Employee training needed according to regulations
• Replacement plans for end-of-life equipment

While participation is voluntary, we highly encourage you to take part to improve the level of safety at your facility and to better protect your community. The training and resources in this program are free of charge.
