This event will determine which BC Mixed Doubles team will represent the province at the Canada Winter Games in PEI in 2023.

Pre Event Team Camp: On November 5th-6th, 2022, there will be a Team Preparation for all teams that register for the 2023 CWG Mixed Doubles QF. Travel costs related to attending this camp will be the responsibility of the individuals or teams attending. The camp will be located in Richmond, BC.

Team Camp Requirement: The successful team and coach at the 2023 CWG Mixed Doubles Qualifier in Barriere will be required to attend a 2023 Canada Winter Games Team Preparation Camp January 14-15^th, 2022 in preparation of attending the 2023 Canada Winter Games in PEI. Camp location will be announced soon.

Coach Requirements in order to attend 2023 Canada Winter Games in PEI: Coaches must be Curling Canada NCCP Competition-Development In-Training (Competition Coach certified + completion of “Manage a Program” and “Health and Wellness” Curling Canada modules). Coaches must be so certified no later than 45 days prior to the Opening Ceremony (January 4, 2023). Curl BC will work with the successful coach to meeting these minimum standards by the January 4^th deadline after being successful at the Qualifier but we encourage coaches to be proactive with getting the required modules completed prior to the firm deadline of January 4^th, 2023 .
