Scott alone on top at BC Scotties

Kelowna’s Kelly Scott is alone on top at the 2012 Scotties BC Women’s Curling Championship presented by Best Western at the North Shore Winter Club in North Vancouver.

Scott continued her winning streak yesterday with a 10-5 victory over Kelley Law and a 7-6 win over Marla Mallet to finish the day with a 4-0 record. Meanwhile Roselyn Craig defeated Allison MacInnes on a last rock measure to move both of those teams to 3-1, alongside Jen Rusnell.

Mallet dropped both her games yesterday and is now tied at 2-2 with Kelley Law and Kelly Thompson. Nicole Backe won her first game in the morning against Rusnell and now sits at 1-3. Brenda Garvey and Marilou Richter are still searching for their first wins at 0-4.
