September 15, 2022
The Nufloors Penticton Curling Classic is set to roll into the Penticton Curling Club this November 3-7, bringing with it the largest purse (and field) on the BC Curling Tour. At $100,000, it annually attracts some of the top curling teams from across the world.
The event will feature thirty teams in a round robin-pools format, with five pools of six. This year’s entries include seven teams from BC—Cseke, deJong, Gauthier, Geall, Nobert, Pierce, and Robillard—as well as teams from across Canada, the United States, Sweden, and Japan.
Along with cash prizes, CTRS points will be awarded, and the top twelve teams will advance to playoffs.
Last year’s winner was Team Edin, of Sweden, with Team Howard of Ontario in second place.
