The 2020 BC Mixed Doubles Curling Championship is for the top Mixed Doubles teams in BC. The teams are made up of two curlers, one male and one female, playing the two-person, fast-paced version of the game. The championship takes place at Hope Curling Club from Feb. 25 to March 1.

Berth allocation:

  • Five Regional events – 14 berths to be prorated (based on the number of entries) among the regions as long as the region meets the minimum of two teams entering
  • One Open event for the remaining berths (two berths minimum).

*If a region has zero or one entry, that berth will be prorated within the other regional events.
** If there is only one entry in a regional playdown, that team may travel to the next closest regional event or the open event. The team’s other option will be to withdraw from the regional playdown process. If going to an alternative regional event, a subsidy will be offered.

Eligibility and category specific rules can be reviewed in detail here (PDF).
