Gear up for Rockslide Curling Camp

More than 90 young people will be converging at Kelowna Curling Club for a fun-filled curling camp.

The 2019 Rockslide Curling Camp, presented by the Optimist Clubs of BC, will go ahead from July 8-11.

The camp is for curlers aged 8-18 who want to improve their game, bond with other curlers and have fun in a safe, social environment.

A coach camp will also be running to support curling coaches.

Rockslide Curling Camp filled up in record time this year, with many campers from past years returning.

Kim Dennis, Curl BC’s Education and Camps Coordinator, said: “We have a wonderful curriculum for our campers, with the focus on fun. The campers will get to do a variety of things, including on-ice sessions, games and instruction on mental skills and strategy.”

Photos of the camp will be available on Curl BC’s social media accounts.

Anyone who is joining us at the camp can tag us @CurlBC (Instagram/Twitter) and curlbc.ca (Facebook) and use #CurlBC and #Rockslide2019 on Instagram and Twitter.
