Our House is Your House

Curling’s elite appear live on the internet

Welcome to a new era of communications for the Season of Champions. October 7th at 7:00pm (MT) marks the inaugaral livestream online webcast of Season of Champions TV. And it features seven of the eight skips that have qualifed for the Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings – December 6 – 13 in Edmonton’s Rexall Place.

The two hour presentation will be hosted by Edmonton media personalities Jim Jerome and Jackie-Rae Greening in conversation with three of the four men’s qualifers – Kevin Martin, Kevin Koe and Randy Ferbey – as well as the first four women’s qualifers – Jennifer Jones, Shannon Kleibrink, Cheryl Bernard and Stefanie Lawton.

There’s already a distinct Alberta flavour to The Roar of the Rings (Canadian Curling Trials). Five of the eight teams hail from the home province. Martin, Koe and Ferbey – all from Edmonton – along with Kleibrink and Bernard.

Find out in their own words how they’re preparing for the biggest event in Canadian Curling history – where they’ll fight for the right to wear the Maple Leaf in Vancouver in 2010 for the world’s most prestigious sporting event.
