Curling Day in Canada

February 23 is Curling Day in Canada! Curling Canada wants to celebrate the great sport of curling across our country by showcasing the game, the incredible people, and the curling rinks that are key parts of the community.

There are several ways that individuals and curling centres can get involved in this celebration. Individual curlers can enter to win an all-expenses-paid closing weekend trip for four people to the 2020 Tim Hortons Brier by submitting photos or videos of themselves and/or their friends related to curling.

Curling centres can also send in photos or videos along with stories about their community in order to enter to win a chance to host the Brier Tankard Trophy (accompanied by Nolan Thiessen and Jeff Stoughton) for the day on February 23.

In addition, curling centres have an opportunity to enter to win $10,000 in cash as a renovation grant by participating in a Canada-wide game on February 23 and collecting a loonie from each player on the ice for the Curling Canada Foundation.
