Curl BC welcomes Kimberly Dennis to the team

Curl BC is excited to announce that Kimberly Dennis will be joining the organization as the new Education and Camps Coordinator.

Kimberly has a wealth of experience in curling management, with over 15 years of experience working as an Assistant Manager at Richmond Curling Centre. A trained coach and accomplished curler, Kimberly is looking forward to working with Curl BC staff and volunteers on the implementation of Curl BC’s National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) and professional development opportunities for coaches. Her role will also involve overseeing and coordinating community events, the Rockslide Summer Curling Camp, the Officiating Program, the Jet Ice Technician Program and development camps for a range of Sport for Life curlers, including wheelchair curlers.

“I’m excited to have an integral role in the growth and development of our sport,” said Kimberly. “I’m looking forward to organizing the various programs, workshops, and camps. It’s going to be fun working with the athletes, coaches, officials, and volunteers within BC.”

Kimberly will officially start at Curl BC on August 27, but will be doing some part-time work earlier in August. She will be reachable via 604-333-3619 or kdennis@curlbc.ca

In addition, Will Sutton will be transferring over to the role of Competitions Manager effective August 6.
