Curl BC and CBC Sports sign five-year streaming agreement

Curl BC and CBC Sports have signed a five-year agreement beginning this season that will see CBC Sports provide livestreaming coverage of the BC Men’s, BC Women’s, and BC Junior Curling Championships on cbcsports.ca and via the CBC Sports app for iOS and Android devices.

“Curl BC is very excited to work with CBC Sports on providing online streaming coverage of our Men’s, Women’s and Junior Championships,” said Curl BC CEO Scott Braley. “Not only will this allow BC curling fans from across Canada to watch the province’s best curlers compete for the title of BC Champions, but it also provides a valuable experience for our curlers, especially our junior athletes, as they prepare to represent BC on the national stage.”

“CBC Sports is proud to be a go-to destination where Canadians can follow their homegrown athletes throughout their careers,” said Greg Stremlaw, Head of CBC Sports & General Manager, Olympics. “We are pleased to partner with Curl BC to bring further awareness and support to the province’s, and country’s, best curling competitors.”
