James Cameron

James “Gordie” Cameron, Past President, PCCA, 1991

Gordie’s journey began December 20th, 1940 when he was born in Quesnel, BC to Donald and Gladys Cameron. After graduating from Quesnel High School, Gordie married Donna Dutz and moved to the lower mainland. There he attended British Columbia Institute of Technology where he graduated and became a BCLS.

He was a very busy man. From fishing to skiing, from softball to curling, Gordie was very active with family, friends and his community. When not with family and friends he could be found helping out with Rotary, Curling (PCCA) or BCLS events. Even in his final years, he would not hesitate to stop and talk to anyone and everyone.

A Celebration of Life is Planned for Gordie on March 17 @ 1pm at Langley Golf and Banquet Centre.
