Act now to comply with new Act

Curling centres that operate as non-profit societies are reminded that they should be working to ensure that their constitution and bylaws comply with the new Societies Act.

BC Registries is sending out notices to the clubs that have not completed the transition to the new Act. The deadline is November 28, 2018.

A total of 17 clubs and two associated curling organisations have been in contact with Curl BC Board Member Peter Muir related to the transition to the new Act.

Peter’s services will be available until November 27, 2018 but the clubs should be filed by November 1.
