A long-time BC curler and volunteer has died.
Ken McLeod, a Curl BC Life Member, passed away on Monday, June 10.
Ken was president of the Pacific Coast Curlers Association in 1976 and was selected to be a life member in 1996.
He was a member of the Richmond Curling Club and volunteered within the sport for many years. He was quite involved when the Macdonald Brier came to Vancouver in 1978.
Former Curl BC president Wayne Braun said: “He was a very good volunteer for the old club on Cambie Road [Richmond Curling Club’s old location] and the new club. He was a good old fellow.”
