Peace Arch Curling Centre provides 100th 8-ender

A mixed team from the Peace Arch Curling Centre has become the 100th curling team to feature in our Curl BC 8-ender gallery.

The team made up of skip Daryl Hrynkiw, third Trish Taylor, second Bill Mey and lead Darlene Mey play in the Friday Night Mixed League at the White Rock-based curling centre.

The team will get the distinction of featuring in the next Curling Connection, Curl BC’s monthly newsletter, to celebrate their achievement.

The team scored the 8-ender on Oct. 11.

At the end of last season, Curl BC had 99 8-ender photos in our online Facebook gallery.

The race is now over for the first 8-ender of the season and the 100th team to be recognised.

Curl BC recognizes 8-enders scored by athletes who are members of affiliated Curl BC facilities.
